American Collegiate Adventures (ACA) Pre-College Programs                             

This summer, choose the best of both worlds.  Build knowledge and confidence for college during the week, and get weekends full of once in a lifetime adventures!  Make this summer unforgettable, leading you toward a college career that helps you get the most out of learning, and of life.  Make this summer an ACA summer!       

 

ASSE USA International Student Exchange Program                 

Study abroad opportunities are offered in over 30 countries.  Students interested in studying abroad, this is for you.  Opportunities range from 4 week programs to a semester or a year.  Program fees start at $5,000.                    

 

Broadreach Global Summer Educational Adventures                                        

Courses are offered in marine science, animal science, photo & journalism, scuba & sailing, language immersion, community service, environmental studies and more, as students travel to various places throughout the world.  Tuition ranges from $4,000 – $8,000.

 

CIEE High School Summer Abroad                                              

A nonprofit, nongovernmental organization, CIEE is the world leader in international education and exchange.  For more than 65 years CIEE has helped thousands of people gain the knowledge and skills necessary to live and work in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world by offering the most comprehensive, relevant, and valuable exchange programs available.

 

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CBYX)                       Age: 18

This unique program allows graduating high school seniors to spend a year in Germany.  Students will have an opportunity to live with host families for a year, attend local schools, and participate in German culture.  Scholarships are now available.  Prior German language skills are not required.  Interested applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate written and oral communication skills, evidence of personal qualities for adjustment to another culture, and motivation for a cross-cultural experience.  Students must be nominated for this program.                 

 

Explorica: Educational Travel                    

Select from over 200 tours to more than 75 countries.  Students can choose between a cultural immersion tour, a service tour, and adventure tour, and much more.

 

ISA High School Programs                         

ISA High School has been a leading provider of high-quality, affordable, cultural and language immersion programs for high school students since 1989.  Our mission is to provide students with a transformative experience aimed at fostering independence, cross-cultural sensitivity, and global citizenship.  The passion we possess for international education and travel is best encapsulated in our motto: “The world awaits…Discover it!” Our 2016 program destinations include: China, Costa Rica, Germany, France, Italy, Peru, and Spain.  ISA also offers volunteer and gap year programs.

 

NACEL Open Door Youth Exchange Programs                                               Grade 12

Seniors interested in studying abroad in Central America, South America, Europe, Asia, or Australia, this is for you. Various program opportunities are available with wide ranging experiences for students to participate in.  Academic Year and Short Term programs are available.  Students interested in studying abroad in Germany have an opportunity to go for free through the Congress-Bundestang Vocational Exchange Program.  Please visit: www.nacelopendoor.org and click on the CBYX Vocational Scholarship picture for application materials, information on the exchange programs, and scholarship opportunities.        

 

OxBridge Academic Programs                                                                     Grades 9 – 12

Students interested in studying abroad during the summer, this is for you.  OxBridge Academic Programs offer students the opportunity to study in Oxford, Cambridge, France, Spain, and New York.  Programs run for 2 or 4 weeks during the month of July and numerous courses are offered.  To learn about what each study abroad experience has to offer including their fees, deadlines, etc…

 

Summer Discovery: Pre-College Enrichment and Internships                             

This is an opportunity for students to pursue internships and programs offered at the following schools: UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, CU Boulder, University of Texas at Austin, University of Michigan, Georgetown University, University of Pennsylvania, New York University, Johns Hopkins, and Emerson College in Boston.  Students may also have the opportunity to pursue programs in Cambridge University & London, London Business Institute, and Florence.  Programs are 2 – 6 weeks in length.  All-inclusive tuition ranges from $2,550 – $10,400 and includes: academics, room & board, college visits, community service, trips, sports, etc…

 

University of Notre Dame Study Abroad: Rome or Ireland                       Grade 12

The Office of Pre-College Programs is happy to offer two exciting summer programs for students looking to study abroad. Are you interested in the iconic sites and architectural history of Rome, with all its fountains, ruins, winding streets, and delicious gelato? Or do you gravitate more toward the Emerald Isle, which boasts both the bustling city of Dublin and the iconic castles and sweeping views of the west? Whatever your preference, our Study Abroad programs offer you a unique opportunity to travel the world, explore a new culture under the guidance of Notre Dame faculty, and make memories that last a lifetime.

 

WorldStrides: Summer Programs                                 

WorldStrides Summer offers academic, adventure, cultural-linguistic immersion, and community service opportunities for high school students.  Participating in these programs allows students to expand their academic vision, experience a new culture, and explore a plethora of new ideas.
