If you are interested in sponsoring a flag, please contact Chris Sernas or Mrs. Hartman. Donations are any multiple of $2, and all proceeds go to the Hunterdon County Veteran&#8217;s Organization.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Students wishing to visit with different branches of the military on\u00a0November 2nd\u00a0during their last block class need to sign-up with Ms. Fresoli in guidance\u00a0<strong>by\u00a0October 30th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There will be a <strong>boys basketball<\/strong> pre-season meeting in <strong>room 250 on\u00a0Wednesday November 1st<sup>\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>after school.<\/strong> All students interested in trying out this winter should attend. See Coach Barbieri or Coach Perkalis with any questions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>TODAY<\/strong>\u00a0Spanish Club will be having a bake sale after-school in the mall area.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>French Club will have a mandatory meeting\u00a0after school TODAY in room 256.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There will be <strong>Mandatory FBLA<\/strong> meeting after school\u00a0<strong>TODAY<\/strong>\u00a0in room 322.<\/p>\n<p>Any student who cannot attend needs to see Mrs. Hartman<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Unified Club<\/strong> is hosting a candy gram sale. Send or surprise\u00a0someone with a candy gram for Halloween!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Unified members will be available throughout the day to take your\u00a0orders and we will be taking orders during lunch mods in the school store.<\/p>\n<p>The candy grams will be delivered on Halloween during your first class (B day, block 4).<\/p>\n<p>Come stop by and send someone a gram!<\/p>\n<p><strong>STUDENTS FOR CHANGE<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; meeting\u00a0<strong>TODAY<\/strong>\u00a0during L2 in room 221 &#8211; all invited<\/p>\n<p>Just in time for the cooler weather, beautiful soft gray long sleeve t-shirts are being sold by <strong>Students For Change<\/strong> &#8211; $15 &#8211; during lunches or in 221.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sophomores,<\/strong> please check your email regarding the Hugh O\u2019Brian Youth Leadership program that runs this summer from <strong>June 22nd-June 24<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0at Kean University.<\/strong> The HOBY is a sophomore youth development leadership training opportunity that runs this summer from\u00a0June 22\u2013 June 24, 2018, at Kean University. This is an opportunity to attend a nationally renowned program, at no cost to you. Eligible students must have demonstrated leadership ability, have strong decision-making skills, have strong communication skills, sensitivity to the needs or concerns of others, the courage to speak out for one\u2019s beliefs, and participated in community service activities. One student will be nominated to represent Voorhees High School. An alternate will also be chosen, in the event the selected student is unable to attend.
