Tomorrow continues the week of Spirit Fest – contest between the classes <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A reminder to all 9th, 10th, 11th, and some 12th grade students – PSAT tests tomorrow. The room assignments were emailed again at 8am this morning. Those taking the PSAT should bring their charged chromebook, charger, ID, and a pen\/pencil to their testing room. You are welcome to bring a calculator with you but there is also one embedded in the test. Be prepared to leave all of your belongings in the hallway outside your testing room. A reminder that the only classes meeting tomorrow are Blocks 5, 6, 7. Seniors with AM Polytech should be here at regular time and when you return, you\u2019ll report to the Auditorium until lunches begin. Other seniors (not testing) need to be here for their first academic class (L1 if a Block 3 science class; L2 if a Block 5 science class). Please check your email for all details. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spanish Club will be meeting after school TOMORROW in the New Cafe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The French Club will be painting pumpkins at their meeting TOMORROW in room 256. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 1st NJ Math League Contest will be held this Thursday after school at 2:30 in room 341. Bring your chromebooks. Calculators are permitted. See Mr. Franz for details. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gentlemen – Do you want to become faster and stronger? Come to the Boys Track and Field winter track interest meeting this Thursday at 2:30 in room 250. Email Coach Raupp with any issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
German Club is having its Oktoberfest meeting on Thursday, October 22nd in room 255 after school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Gaming Club will be meeting in room 323 from 2:30-3:10 Thursday 10\/22<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Model UN meets Thursdays after school in room 313. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
English SAT Help meets Thursdays after school with Mr. Crane in room 221. So if you want to sharpen up your test taking skills with regards to evidence based reading, writing and grammar skills and the SAT essay, drop in and get some assistance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be a Fencing Interest meeting in the New Cafe after school on Thursday 10\/22 for anyone interested in fencing for the boys or girls teams this winter. Information will be shared and there will be a demonstration of all 3 weapons. No experience is needed. Check the tvs for more info and for the google classroom codes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The National English Honor Society is hosting an October Writing Challenge with the following writing prompt: “It’s a dark and stormy night, and you are walking home from your job. Suddenly, you are confronted by a monster. Describe the monster and your encounter.” Check out the flyers around the building for more info. Students must print and hand in a story of no more than 500 words to Mrs. Edwards in the library by October 23rd. Winners will be announced by October 28th and they\u2019ll receive a basket full of monster treats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
RVCC will be coming on October 28th at 9:00 am for Information day. If you are interested in attending, please sign up in the Counseling Office by October 27th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Skiers & Snowboarders – Information about this year\u2019s trips to Blue Mountain (in January) was sent out via email on Wednesday 10\/7. The buses fill up quickly and only fully completed forms are accepted. Paperwork can be found on the Ski Club website, google classroom and outside room 317 and 318. All forms need to be turned in directly to Ms. Luckhardt in room 318. Check your email for more info. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
