They were fantastic as always.\u00a0 Great job by the staff and students altogether.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Shoutout to the Cheerleading Squad as they Qualified for Nationals (in Disney) at Saturday\u2019s Regional Tournament on Saturday\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Over the weekend, VHS Unified participated in The Special Olympics New Jersey Dash & Splash in Asbury Park. \u00a0 A huge congrats to the team\u2026 for the second year in a row, the VHS Unified team was the top fundraiser in the state, raising almost $12,820, as well the winners of Highest Team participation in the state with almost 50 splashers running into the ocean on Saturday morning!\u00a0 With students well over the\u00a0 fundraising goal, Mr. Peterson ran into the ocean dressed as Buddy the Elf, and earned the team a spot on Live TV!\u00a0 The team was interviewed by John Elliot on the NY CBS morning news!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Turkey Splash participants should report to Room 137 at the conclusion of the announcements for the final team photo; students will return to class immediately after.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Key Club is hosting a Perishable Food Drive this week (November 18 – 22) to help local families for Thanksgiving.
