Thank you to all of the students, advisors, and chaperones who attended decorating last night.\u00a0 Everyone was well behaved and stayed in their designated areas.\u00a0 You made it a great night!<\/span><\/p>\n

A reminder to those grades that made spiritfest tshirts\u2026.tomorrow is the day to wear them!<\/span><\/p>\n

The library will be closed after school today.\u00a0 Please go to the Senior Mall instead.<\/b><\/p>\n

A reminder that the non-perishable food drive is going on throughout this week.\u00a0 This is an important event that we run each year to help our local families in need enjoy their holiday season.\u00a0 We need all of your support to make this event a success!\u00a0 In addition, this is a big part of Spiritfest and currently seniors are in first, freshman in second, juniors in third, and sophomores in fourth.\u00a0 We have currently brought in 900 pounds of food and our goal was 2000 so lets finish strong.\u00a0 The bonus item today was stuffing mix.\u00a0 Tomorrow is worth 5x the points and you\u2019ll get double the points for canned vegetables!\u00a0 You can make a big jump in standings just by tomorrow!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Girls and Boys Fencing teams want you! We\u2019re a perennial top-10 program in the state where everyone is welcome. Even freshmen can fence varsity! Curious? Need a winter sport to keep active? Want to be part of a great team? No experience necessary, we\u2019ll give you everything you need. Join us at the informational meeting on Thursday, October 24th immediately after school in the cafeteria to meet the team, captains and coaches. Contact Madame Morgan, Coach Clawson or Coach Marsh if you can\u2019t make it. Come stick it to your friends!<\/span><\/p>\n

Attention Swimmers\u2014The Swim Team’s pre-season meeting is <\/span>on Wednesday, October 30th, at 2:30<\/span> in Room 333. If you cannot attend, contact Coach Hanley or Coach Napholz.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Seniors, there are still 14 extra tshirts for sale for spiritfest.\u00a0 All those interested should come to room 322 with $20 to secure your shirt.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SAT and ACT Math help will be held in room 340 on Mondays after school with Ms. Wieteszka.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The annual winter festival craft show hosted by the VHS Music Association will take place on Saturday, November 23rd from 9 AM – 3 PM.\u00a0 There will be over 100 vendors, great food, and music!<\/span><\/p>\n

Teen Pep will be hosting a community night discussing parent teen communication November 26th at 6pm, refreshments and snacks will be served. Anyone is welcome to attend! (Start reading on November 4th)<\/span><\/p>\n

Images Art & Literary Club meets every Wednesday after school in the Media Center\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The class of 2028 will be meeting every Wednesday after school in Room 137 from 2:30-3:10.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

English SAT & ACT Help will be meeting every Thursday after school in room 225 with Mr. Crane\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Friday Morning Lights (Bible Club) meets every Friday in room 135 at 7am.\u00a0 All are welcome.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

National English Honor Society is holding its October Flash Fiction Contest. The theme is Alien Invasion. For more information about rules and requirements visit the Media Center. Submissions are due by the end of the month<\/span><\/p>\n
