{"id":2998,"date":"2024-06-03T08:53:41","date_gmt":"2024-06-03T12:53:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/vhs\/morning-announcements\/?p=2998"},"modified":"2024-06-03T08:53:42","modified_gmt":"2024-06-03T12:53:42","slug":"monday-june-3-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/vhs\/morning-announcements\/monday-june-3-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Monday, June 3, 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">TODAY is the last day for you to pick up your yearbook &#8211; you can do so in room 135 during L1 and L2.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A reminder to all students that you can turn in your Chromebooks in the library beginning TODAY. 9th through 11th grade just hand in their chromebooks.\u00a0 Seniors need to hand in their cases and chargers as well.\u00a0 If you need your chromebook for your Block 8 final on June 7th, you will be able to leave it in the room you are taking the final.\u00a0 Otherwise, all chromebooks need to be handed in at the Media Center.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A reminder to all students that if you only have a 2nd period exam, you are welcome to come in late &#8211; it starts at 9:55.\u00a0 For any students that only have a 1st period exam, you need to have a WRITTEN NOTE that you may leave early and it must identify who will be transporting you (Seniors with a parking spot can drive themself) and you must sign out near the Theatre exit between 9:45-9:55. BE PREPARED. Otherwise, all students that need to stay in the building but don\u2019t have an exam will report to the Auditorium.\u00a0 And yes, you need to stay in your exam period for the duration of the period.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>BOYS BASKETBALL SUMMER OFF-SEASON MEETING TODAY.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>In ROOM 250<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> right after school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Congratulations to Nina Weiland who has been elected to the New Jersey FFA State Officer team as the State FFA Reporter for 2024-2025! In addition at the convention, Nina received the Garden State FFA Degree and the State Star Agriscience Award and is the first FFA member in the Environmental Sustainability and Engineering Academy\u00a0 to earn both distinctions!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Shoutout to Junior Kiera McGann -On Friday, 5\/24,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She was competed on the New Jersey State High School Rodeo team to qualify for the 2023 National Championship Finals<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in Rock Springs, Wyoming in July.\u00a0 Kiera placed qualified in both goat tying (1st) and barrel racing (3rd) and was 3rd in the all around.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here are the awesome highlights from the Central Jersey Sectional Championships at Jackson Liberty from this weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Congrats to the following girls for earning medals and qualifying for next weekend&#8217;s State Group 2 Meet:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Charlotte Scaturo &#8211; 1st Place in the 400 Hurdles in a <\/span><b>New School Record<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Girls 4&#215;100 Relay &#8211; 3rd Place in a <\/span><b>New School Record<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">!
