{"id":2918,"date":"2024-04-08T08:44:37","date_gmt":"2024-04-08T12:44:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/vhs\/morning-announcements\/?p=2918"},"modified":"2024-04-08T08:44:37","modified_gmt":"2024-04-08T12:44:37","slug":"monday-april-8-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/vhs\/morning-announcements\/monday-april-8-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Monday, April 8, 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Welcome back.\u00a0 I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Spring Break. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Math SAT &amp; ACT help meets MONDAY after school in room 340\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">English SAT &amp; ACT help meets MONDAY after school in room 225<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">JUNIORS &amp; SENIORS &#8211; Prom tickets are on sale this week during lunches in room 135.\u00a0 Please be sure to have all your forms completed and any fines paid prior to purchasing your tickets.\u00a0 For those of you taking non-VHS guests, you need to have that form entirely completed and signed by our Administration prior to purchasing that ticket as well.\u00a0 Again, the Class of 2025 representatives will be in room 135 during lunches.\u00a0 If you haven\u2019t completed the forms, please check the VHS Website.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The VHS Drama Club will be performing Les Miserables THIS THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY night at 7pm and SUNDAY at 2pm.\u00a0 If you are interested in tickets please see the VHS website or contact Mr. Reynolds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Diversity Club meets WEDNESDAYS\u00a0 in room 321<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Images meets WEDNESDAYS after school in the Media Center<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The VHS Youth and Government club meets every THURSDAY after school in room 312 with Mr. Kirby and Ms. Leonelli.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please be sure to not look directly at the sun this afternoon during the eclipse which will be taking place between roughly 2pm &#8211; 4:30pm (with 90% of the sun being blocked by the moon around 3:20) unless you are wearing the necessary solar viewing (eclipse) glasses in order to protect your eyes. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome back.\u00a0 I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Spring Break.
