{"id":2506,"date":"2023-03-06T09:51:41","date_gmt":"2023-03-06T13:51:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/vhs\/morning-announcements\/?p=2506"},"modified":"2023-03-06T09:51:42","modified_gmt":"2023-03-06T13:51:42","slug":"monday-march-6-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/vhs\/morning-announcements\/monday-march-6-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Monday, March 6, 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A reminder to check your email daily for meeting reminders &#8211; from your Counselors especially.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For those of you interested in using the weight room this spring, make sure that a parent\/guardian registers you for Spring Intramurals.\u00a0 The first day of Spring Weight room is TODAY.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Last call for Images poetry, short stories, and art work.The Deadline is 3\/8.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">German Club is having a Karneval celebration on Wednesday the 8th in room 255\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There will be a gaming club meeting on Wednesday 3\/8 from 2:30-3:10 in room 250.\u00a0 We will discuss the upcoming party.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students 4 Change is hosting a throw and catch tournament on Thursday March 9.\u00a0 Teams are composed of 6 players.\u00a0 Each player needs to pay $5.\u00a0 You can get your registration forms from Mrs. Castello in room 221.\u00a0 All forms and team registration is due by March 7.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Choir Coffeehouse will take place on Friday, March 10.\u00a0 There will be 2 performances &#8211; 6 &amp; 8pm.\u00a0 Tickets are $10 and you can get them by seeing Mr. Finck in the music area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Movie Club will be hosting a movie night this Friday 3\/10 from 5:30-8 in the New Cafe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Habitat 4 Humanity &#8211; 3 v 3 Bball tournament Monday 3\/13.\u00a0 Check your email for registration and payment info.\u00a0 Deadline is Friday March 10th.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There will be a gaming club party on friday 3\/10 from 3:00-8:00 in the back gym.\u00a0 All are welcome!\u00a0 The cost is $3 for members and $5 for non-members.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Seniors, Local Scholarships are now posted on the Counseling Department website. Please look under Scholarships and Awards at the Voorhees Local Scholarships. Check the list bi-weekly for new scholarship postings. Check the scholarship list below it for other scholarship opportunities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Seniors &#8211; The Voorhees Counseling Department will be hosting an RVCC application session on March 22nd. Representatives from RVCC will guide students through the application process. The deadline to register for the session is March 17th.
