We will now be leaving class at 9:40 am instead of 7:45 am. So, you WILL be attending the first two periods of the day tomorrow (Block 2 and Block 3). Also, don&#8217;t forget to bring a packed lunch for the trip!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Calling all Math-a-letes!\u00a0 The SECOND NJ Math League Contest is being held this week!\u00a0 Log into Google Classroom, (CODE: \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">vio7mkf<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 ) and complete the contest via Google Form.\u00a0 The contest will be open beginning TODAY\u00a0 and close on Friday 11\/18\/22 promptly at 2:30 pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Key Club is hosting a perishable food drive from November 14th-21th.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Donated goods will be used to prepare Thanksgiving meals for families in need throughout our community. Food can be dropped off in the bins outside of the main cafeteria between 7am and 3:10 pm on school days. The bins will be checked throughout the day and all items (turkeys and all the fixings) will be accepted. Make sure that you label items (or the bags the items are in) with your name. There will be three prizes associated with the perishable food drive:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">First place = 4 season passes to all home sporting events this school year<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Second place =\u00a0 2 season passes to all home sporting events this school year<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Third place = 1 season pass to all home sporting events this school year.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;Attention gamers:\u00a0 there will be a gaming club party TOMORROW\u00a0 from 3:00-8:00 in the Back Gym.\u00a0 The cost of entry is $5.\u00a0 Bring your favorite games and join us.\u00a0 Pizza and soda is included with your entry fee.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Student Advocates for Speech will be meeting on Monday during L1 and L2 in the media center &#8211; you are welcome to go during direct study or lunch but you must report to your lab.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Habitat for Humanity is having a bake sale on Monday, November 21st. This will occur after school. Don&#8217;t forget to bring money, everything will be $1<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;Attention basketball players.\u00a0 Tryouts begin on Monday with the girls practicing in the main gym from 3:10-5:00 and the boys from 5:00-7:00.\u00a0 Please be changed and ready to go!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The VHS Key Club is working with United Way and helping with Holiday Hands, which provides gifts to thousands of Hunterdon County families. There is a SignUpGenius link that you were emailed where anyone can fill a slot and donate a specific item. <\/span><b>Sign-ups are until November 28<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>donations are to be brought to Voorhees High School no later than December 1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0 Donations can be dropped off in the Main Office.
