You are welcome to come if you have direct study or lunch but you need to report to lab.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Key Club will be having a bake sale after school TODAY in the Mall area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;Anyone staying for the Turkey Splash today meet in the Unified Hallway at 2:30&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This year VHS Unified is hosting the Turkey Splash here at school!\u00a0 The Lebanon Township Fire Department is going to come to Voorhees High School TODAY\u00a0 to spray us with water!\u00a0 This event is still open to all students, staff, and family members.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 You can find out more information about how to sign up by seeing a Unified Club Member.&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>TOMORROW is half day for students due to staff in-service.\u00a0 Check your email for the schedule and changes for Polytech students.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Calling all Math-a-letes!\u00a0 The SECOND NJ Math League Contest is being held this week!\u00a0 Log into Google Classroom, (CODE: \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">vio7mkf<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 ) and complete the contest via Google Form.\u00a0 The contest will be open beginning TODAY\u00a0 and close on Friday 11\/18\/22 promptly at 2:30 pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hot Chocolate will be for sale before school TOMORROW.\u00a0 Students for Change is selling hot chocolate for $2 a cup &#8211; with whipped cream, marshmallows, and peppermint sticks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Only TWO students have donated food to the Perishable food drive so far and we are in need of a lot more!!\u00a0 So far, Emily Denis is in first with 16.5 pounds and Emmett Weldon is in second place with 15 pounds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Key Club is hosting a perishable food drive from November 14th-21th.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Donated goods will be used to prepare Thanksgiving meals for families in need throughout our community. Food can be dropped off in the bins outside of the main cafeteria between 7am and 3:10 pm on school days. The bins will be checked throughout the day and all items (turkeys and all the fixings) will be accepted. Make sure that you label items (or the bags the items are in) with your name. There will be three prizes associated with the perishable food drive:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">First place = 4 season passes to all home sporting events this school year<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Second place =\u00a0 2 season passes to all home sporting events this school year<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Third place = 1 season pass to all home sporting events this school year.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Drama Club presents Mamma Mia Thursday November 17- Saturday November 19 at 7pm.\u00a0 There will be a matinee performance Sunday 11\/20 at 2pm.\u00a0 You can get tickets in advance by seeing Mr. Reynolds in the music area ($14 for adults, $12 for students).\u00a0 All tickets at the door\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">will be $15.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Student Advocates for Speech will be meeting on Monday during L1 and L2 in the media center &#8211; you are welcome to go during direct study or lunch but you must report to your lab.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Habitat for Humanity is having a bake sale on Monday, November 21st. This will occur after school. Don&#8217;t forget to bring money, everything will be $1<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;Attention basketball players.\u00a0 Tryouts begin on Monday with the girls practicing in the main gym from 3:10-5:00 and the boys from 5:00-7:00.\u00a0 Please be changed and ready to go!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The VHS Key Club is working with United Way and helping with Holiday Hands, which provides gifts to thousands of Hunterdon County families. There is a SignUpGenius link that you were emailed where anyone can fill a slot and donate a specific item. <\/span><b>Sign-ups are until November 28<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>donations are to be brought to Voorhees High School no later than December 1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0 Donations can be dropped off in the Main Office.
