These reps will be picked from your directed study, so let your teacher know by Friday, September 10th, if you are interested in being part of student council.\u00a0 As the rep, you would be the one who informs your directed study classmates of any school happenings, such as events, news, etc. Again, please let your directed study teacher know if you are interested.\u00a0 Staff with a direct study – please check your email for the google form to list those that are interested.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n September is National Suicide Prevention Month<\/b><\/p>\n Did you know that four out of five individuals considering suicide give some sign of their intentions, either verbally or behaviorally. This means that, if we learn the signs and know how to respond, we have an opportunity to assist 80% of those teens who are contemplating suicide.\u00a0 Our Student Assistance Counselor Counselor Ms. Lanzilotta and her interns created a bulletin board in the hallway across from the media center, where you can place a \u201cMessage of Hope\u201d to spread awareness.
