For all interested students – Ms. Hardy – from the food services staff will be outside the cafe as you exit the building daily.\u00a0 She will have a lunch and breakfast (for the following day) available for all students free of charge. You don\u2019t need to sign up, you would just grab it and go. The lunch does require you to heat up the items once home.\u00a0 For those students staying through for sports or drama club (and signed up on the google form), please make sure you grab a hot lunch from inside the cafeteria and don\u2019t take a bag from Ms. Hardy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Environmental Academy will distribute the homemade soap from their fundraiser this week.\u00a0 They will be outside the school on Friday 4\/23 from 12-1PM. You can also pick up soap directly from Ms. Clifton in Room 333 during the day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Environmental Club is having their annual Mother\u2019s Day Flower Sale. An email was sent Friday with ordering information and it was also posted to the VHS Website.\u00a0 Orders are due this Friday – April 23.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2013 Normandy will be here from today through Thursday, May 6 for Class of 2022 Senior Portraits. They will be set up in room 135 \u2013 across from the elevator. They will have appointments from 8:15am \u2013 3pm daily. Please check your email or the VHS website for more details.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Voorhees Choir’s annual Coffeehouse performance is this Friday, April 23 at 7:00 PM. The performance will premiere on YouTube and will remain viewable through the weekend. The theme is <\/span>Songs On the Big Screen<\/b> and featured songs include “You’ve Got A Friend In Me”, “A Million Dreams”, and “Sh-Boom”, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Voorhees Girls & Boys Track Booster Club is holding a Car<\/span> Wash on Saturday, April 24 from 10:00am-1:30pm at Voorhees High School. Please stop by and show your support! Cost is $10 per car and donations are accepted as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are marking the days leading up to the GAY LESBIAN AND STRAIGHT EDUCATION NETWORK’S annual Day of Silence, which Voorhees will celebrate on April 30. On that <\/span>Day of Silence <\/b><\/a>LGBTQ students and allies from all over America and around the world will take a vow of silence to protest both the harassment and discrimination of LGBTQ students of all ages.\u00a0 In 2011, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is repealed, ending a ban on gay men and lesbians serving openly in the military.
