There is a mock trial meeting on Thursday, October 29 from 1-2 on Zoom.\u00a0 The Zoom meeting has been emailed to you all.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

German Students:\u00a0 German Club will be holding its virtual Oktoberfest TODAY from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.\u00a0 Please e-mail Dr. Scarloss to get the Zoom link.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next week (starting November 1st) is National French Week. Celebrate French culture by participating in daily trivia Monday through Wednesday (in order to participate, you have to be part of French Club’s Google Classroom). Winners will receive their choice of prize.\u00a0 French Club will also be holding a meeting on Tuesday, November 3rd, at 1 pm. 2021 Yearbooks are available for purchase.\u00a0 Go to yearbookordercenter.com and enter school code 4917.\u00a0 The current cost is $85 but it will go up after Jan 1.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

VHS KEY CLUB food drive is still on this year.\u00a0 Non-perishable items will be accepted beginning Monday, Nov. 9.\u00a0 Perishable items (worth double) will be accepted beginning Monday, Nov. 16.\u00a0 Green bins will be placed outside of the Cafeteria.\u00a0 Gift-cards and monetary donations will be accepted at the security desk. This year you can form a team of 5 to compete for prizes.\u00a0 The individual who donates the most will also receive a prize.\u00a0 Teams are due by Monday, Nov. 2.\u00a0 Please see your email or the VHS Website for details.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reminder to Underclassmen – Photos are scheduled for Thursday Nov. 5 and Friday Nov. 6.\u00a0 They\u2019ll be taken in the Main Cafeteria.\u00a0 Check your email\/VHS Website for the schedule but make every opportunity to get your photo taken on 1 of the 2 days so your picture is in the yearbook and you can get a school ID\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Seniors – Senior Portraits are being taken between Nov 9 and Nov 24.\u00a0 Normandy will be set up in the Resource Room of the New Cafe.\u00a0 A reminder that you need to sign up for your appointment on Normandy\u2019s website.\u00a0 Check your email and\/or the VHS Website for details.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
