The Meyerhoff Scholars Program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is currently accepting nominations.\u00a0 Applicants must have:<\/p>\n
*at least a B average in college preparatory math\/science courses<\/p>\n
*outstanding SAT scores<\/p>\n
*a genuine interest in science<\/p>\n
*plan to pursue doctoral studies in (Ph.D. or the combined MD\/Ph.D) in a STEM field<\/p>\n
The Meyerhoff Scholars Program awards range from $10,000-22, 000 per year for out of state students.<\/p>\n
