Welcome to the Voorhees Intervention and Referral Services website.<\/p>\n
All public school students in New Jersey are entitled to Intervention and Referral Services (I & RS) when they experience academic, behavior and\/or health difficulties that have not been successfully resolved using more traditional approaches.\u00a0 As per N.J.A.C 6A:16-7, each district board of education is required to establish and implement a coordinated system in each school building for the planning and delivery of Intervention and Referral Services (I & RS) that are designed to:<\/p>\n
1) Assist students who are experiencing learning, behavior or health difficulties; and
\n2) Provide support, guidance, and professional development to school staff who identify students experiencing learning, behavior or health difficulties.<\/p>\n
Our multidisciplinary team, composed of administrators, teachers, counselors, and support staff,\u00a0welcomes referrals for students\u00a0experiencing educational difficulties.<\/p>\n
