{"id":8559,"date":"2025-09-18T12:59:52","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T16:59:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/vhs\/home\/?p=8559"},"modified":"2025-09-18T12:59:55","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T16:59:55","slug":"vhs-homecoming-dance-tickets-open-through-october-1st","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/vhs\/home\/vhs-homecoming-dance-tickets-open-through-october-1st\/","title":{"rendered":"VHS Homecoming Dance Tickets Open Through October 1st"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dear Voorhees High School Students &amp; Parents\/Guardians:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VHS Class of 2026 will be hosting this year\u2019s Homecoming Dance on&nbsp;<strong>Saturday, October 4, 2025 in the VHS Gymnasium from 6pm to 9pm.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All VHS Students that are in good academic\/disciplinary standing and are free from any monetary obligations (no $ is owed to the Media Center, TRC, etc) are eligible to purchase ticket(s). Tickets are $30 each. Food (items such as salad, assorted fruit, meat &amp; cheese, pasta, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, and other finger foods) and water will be available for attendees in the gym lobby area.&nbsp; There will be tables and seating in the gym as well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, tickets will be purchased online at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/omella.com\/vm54h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/omella.com\/vm54h<\/a>.&nbsp; Tickets will be purchased through the use of a credit\/debit card (for a small fee) or through the use of a bank account (no fee).&nbsp; Ticket sales will close at 11:59pm on&nbsp;<strong>Wednesday, October 1<\/strong>.&nbsp; Tickets are non-refundable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those eligible to purchase tickets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;All Voorhees students in good academic\/disciplinary standing and without monetary obligations (library, TRC, etc.)&nbsp;&nbsp;Check Aspen (the Transactions tab) to see if you have any outstanding obligations \u2013 bring payments to the necessary location.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To purchase tickets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Go to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/omella.com\/vm54h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/omella.com\/vm54h<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>All tickets need to be purchased during the same transaction &#8211; you will not be able to buy a guest ticket independently.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Enter a valid student email address &#8211; all emails are validated to ensure only eligible students may purchase ticket(s) or have a guest ticket purchased for them.&nbsp; If you are unable to proceed past your email address it is because you owe some sort of financial obligation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete the required information<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;If you would like to purchase 1 guest ticket for a VHS student, they will need to complete the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1gygnQkq35mr0eRxO7bsyYxpzUG-Twald\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VHS Homecoming 2025 Permission &amp; Breathalyzer Form<\/a>&nbsp;and you\u2019ll need to upload it on the Omella page in the indicated location<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;If you would like to purchase 1 guest ticket for a Non-VHS student, a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1oXbYb1YxuX_i3oTlHEIxxyiMRsMA3CRC\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VHS Homecoming 2025 Non-VHS Guest Form<\/a>&nbsp;will need to be signed by a VHS Administrator&nbsp;<strong>ASAP<\/strong>.&nbsp; All guests must be under the age of 21. Middle school aged students are not allowed. Once signed, the VHS student as well as their parents\/guardians will be emailed a Guest Code.&nbsp; That code needs to be entered on the Omella page and the completed form must also be uploaded in the indicated location.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Forms Do NOT need to be uploaded if you purchase a single ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Tickets that are purchased with a credit\/debit card will be subject to a processing fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;To purchase a ticket without incurring a fee, you can choose to pay via your bank account (ACH transaction).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;A receipt will be sent to both the student email as well as the parent\/guardian email. The receipt will have a QR code that can be scanned to check in upon arrival at the dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Receipts can be printed or can be shown on a cell phone to check in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rules for Homecoming attendees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Voorhees students should be aware that a random breathalyzer test will be administered at the dance upon arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Students must arrive at the dance by 7:00pm. No student will be admitted to the dance after that time. Chaperones will notify parents\/guardians if students have not arrived by 7:00pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Once an individual leaves the dance area, they will not be readmitted to the prom. Students must stay in the designated dance area while in attendance.&nbsp; If a student forgets something in their car, they will be escorted by a chaperone to retrieve it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Anyone consuming, possessing or under the influence of alcohol and\/or drugs will not be permitted to attend or remain at the dance, and will be prosecuted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;Proper attire (semi-formal dress) must be worn for the duration of the prom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8&nbsp;&nbsp;The dance is an extension of the school, and all school rules regarding conduct apply.
