Voorhees High School has announced the selections for the 2024-2025 Teacher and Educational Services Professional of the year.\u00a0 Congratulations to Teacher of the Year, English teacher Nancy Anne Castello (pictured on the left below), and Educational Services Professional of the Year, Behaviorist Kara Esposito (pictured on the right below)!\u00a0 This is a well deserved honor for these outstanding professionals!<\/p>\n

Nancy Anne joined Voorhees in 2004 and also serves as our Lead Teacher for the English Department.\u00a0 Kara was hired in January of 2022, but has been in education for 22 years. These are two outstanding individuals and we thank them for all of their hard work and dedication to our students!<\/p>\n

The Governor\u2019s Educator of the Year program honors hardworking teachers and educational services professionals for their dedication to students, and to the profession. The Governor\u2019s Educator of the Year Recognition Program (GEOY) promotes a culture that recognizes excellence, creates a sense of pride and brings public attention to the work of outstanding educators.<\/p>\n
