Voorhees Unified students and advisors participated in the Special Olympics’ annual Turkey Splash and Dash on November 18th for a fifth year in a row, this time coming away with two trophies for their fundraising efforts!<\/p>\n

The Voorhees Unified team won trophies for Highest Team Participation with 45 members splashing into the Atlantic Ocean in Asbury Park as well as Highest Fundraising Team as they raised $15,863. For their high total, Principal Ron Peterson agreed to dress up as roller skating Ken from the Barbie movie!<\/p>\n
