If your Viking(s) would like to participate in an extracurricular\u00a0club\u00a0or activity, we require a parent\/guardian to complete a consent for participation form in\u00a0Aspen.\u00a0 To give your consent for\u00a0club\u00a0membership, please do the following:\u00a0<\/p>\n
*\u00a0<\/strong>You will need to complete this consent form multiple times if your child would like to\u00a0participate in more than one\u00a0club\u00a0or activity.\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0For a list of current\u00a0clubs\u00a0and activities at Voorhees High School, please visit\u00a0VHS\u00a0Clubs\u00a0& Activities<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n *Note: The webpage is being slightly updated due to some advisor changes. Some activities are not listed in the\u00a0Aspen\u00a0form as they are event based and students just need to\u00a0<\/em>sign<\/em>\u00a0in at the event (or they’ll be invited) such as Math Competition. Only students that have been accepted into one of the Honor Societies (National, Math, English, Science, Social Studies) should\u00a0<\/em>sign<\/em>\u00a0up<\/em>\u00a0for these groups.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Announcements regarding upcoming\u00a0club\u00a0meetings are made daily.\u00a0These announcements are also posted on the VHS Website – scroll down past important links on the right hand side.\u00a0 I have also been emailing the students regarding initial\u00a0club\u00a0meetings with advisor contact information. Having students signed\u00a0up\u00a0for the\u00a0clubs in Aspen allows the advisors to contact them to join a Google Classroom or inform them of an upcoming meeting.\u00a0 It also allows the advisor to have contact information for a\u00a0club\u00a0member’s\u00a0parents\/guardians (should it be needed) and to see a schedule for a\u00a0club\u00a0member (as if they were a student in their class).\u00a0<\/p>\n A reminder that most meetings are held after school from 2:30-3:10pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (when there are late buses at 3:15).\u00a0 Those buses start on Wednesday 9\/6.\u00a0 Late bus routes are different than the normal AM\/PM bus routes and they can be found in Aspen on the student\/family view (click on Page Directory on left side\u00a0then Trans. Routes).\u00a0<\/p>\n
