Viktor the Viking has come to Voorhees all the way from Mascot Makers in Windsor, England where he was made.\u00a0 It took about a year from concept to planning and building to make Viktor a reality.\u00a0 Viktor was designed with the help of many supporters across the country and in England who were motivated by the story of the Voorhees Unified Program and its inspiring message of unity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Unified Program has created an all-inclusive, unified environment for all students at Voorhees High School, and this mascot is a reminder that in the end – we are all Vikings.\u00a0 Each and every student is an important part of the culture at Voorhees High School.\u00a0 We hope that the donation of this gift will further inspire Unified\u2019s mission of acceptance, inclusion, and community, and we sincerely thank the parents and individuals (you know who you are) who were responsible for bringing Viktor the Viking to our school,\u201d said Kelly Anne Kieffer, Assistant Principal who oversees Special Education and the Unified Programs at Voorhees High School.<\/p>\n
