{"id":2215,"date":"2020-09-10T09:31:28","date_gmt":"2020-09-10T13:31:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/nhhs\/studentactivities\/?page_id=2215"},"modified":"2025-08-26T14:26:57","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T18:26:57","slug":"diversity-club","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/nhhs\/studentactivities\/diversity-club\/","title":{"rendered":"Diversity Club"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">The Diversity Club will provide students with an opportunity to construct knowledge about social injustice, equity, diversity and multiculturalism specific to our unique learning community and a continually changing global society.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\"><br \/>Our first meeting will be <b>\u00a0September 17th <\/b>at 2:30pm in room 220.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\"><b>During this first meeting, we will see what days and meeting times work best for all.<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Activities:<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Peer training through\u00a0the Anti-Defamation League. Preparing students to use the positive power of peer influence to promote respect and civility in their schools and beyond.\u00a0 Peer training teaches Peer Trainers to take action against prejudice.
