Our classroom is &#8220;a working environment&#8221;<i><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">you are evaluated every day-based on\/ time to the task\/ time on the task\/ Intensity time<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>2. Our classroom is attractive (loaded with maps to be used often as references), comfortable (tables &amp; desks), and functional (easy access to all materials-books\/computers)-act appropriately.<\/p>\n<p>3. Specific established proc\u00e9dures and routines are necessary for success &amp; has been discussed with you stressing their importance for leaning and respect, knowing this process fosters a team concept.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Es<i>tablish procedures and routines<\/i><\/span>:<\/p>\n<p>1. Get needed materials- special paper- books (discussion weeks-non case study days) \u2013 (electronic devices charged for daily use-)-<b><i><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">in a timely manner<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2. All text books are maintained in the classroom (Text books-College level books &amp; AP level books)-we recommend you buy your own text for highlighting &amp; to use at home<\/p>\n<p>3 .Label special paper with date and overarching concept &amp; EQ for the day from the syllabus<\/p>\n<p>4. 3 Mods&#8211;READING\/Vocab\/research \u00a0first 20 minutes=mod 1\/ followed by discussion 20 min.+mod 2\/followed by wrap up based on day of the week 15 min.=mod 3<\/p>\n<p>5. Appropriate times for moving around the room in first 20 minutes\/Going to the restroom<\/p>\n<p>6. Signaling for quiet and attention\/ announcements for beginning of discussion in second 20 minutes<\/p>\n<p>7. <strong>Socratic discussion<\/strong><i>-(middle 20 min.)<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Last 15 min.
