<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nCell phones will be placed in the Cell Phone Motel when entering the classroom. They are to remain there until the end of class and I let students pick up their phones.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n- What you need to bring to class each day:<\/strong>\n
\n- A notebook, a three ring binder for handouts, your student I.D., and a pen\/and or pencil.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- What you won\u2019t bring to class each day:<\/strong>\n
\n- Food, beverages, hats, or I-Pods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- What will happen if you are late to class?<\/strong>\n
\n- The classroom door is closed as the bell rings.<\/li>\n
- If I need to open the door for you, you are tardy<\/u><\/strong>, <\/strong>unless you have a pass signed by a school official. Three tardies will result in a teacher administered detention.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- How your grades will be determined:<\/strong>\n
\n- Grades will be determined using the district grading policy outlined in your student handbook. Grades are determined by total points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- You will get at least a 3 days notice on all tests. Quizzes may be announced or unannounced.<\/li>\n
- LATE POLICY: <\/strong>If you hand in an assignment or lab report late<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
ONE DAY<\/strong> your grade for the assignment will be reduced 25%. Two days late, it will be reduced 50%. Three days late, there will be no credit. If you cut class you will receive NO CREDIT.<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/strong>MAKE UP POLICY: <\/strong>All missed work due to absence will be entered as a zero<\/u><\/strong> in the grade book until it is made up<\/u><\/strong>. You have two days for every missed school day to make up missed work. You are responsible for finding out about missed work!<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/strong>What will happen if you are absent from class:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- You are responsible for all work and handouts you missed while you are absent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- You should get class notes from a classmate and come to me if you do not understand the material.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- If you are absent only one day and a test was given, you are expected to take the test the day you return, except under extreme <\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- If you are absent on the review day before the test, YOU ARE STILL EXPECTED TO TAKE THE TEST ON THE SCHEDULED DAY!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

\n- Please notify me beforehand if you are going to be out of class because of a guidance appointment, school or personal function. All work that is due should be sent with a classmate or given to me before class. Tests should not be missed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

\n- Cheating & Plagiarism Policy: Anyone caught cheating will receive a zero for the assignment and I will phone home to report the incident to your parents. Repeated or large scale cheating will result in disciplinary action by the administration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Plagiarism is a serious issue and we will review proper citation methods prior to any project or long term written assignment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
