[Show Choir will rehearse from 2:30-3:10pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, and 12-12:40pm on early dismissal Wednesday\/Fridays, in the Choir Room, unless otherwise announced.]<\/em><\/p>\n

Wed., 11\/22<\/strong>, 12:00pm ~ Decorating Party in the Choir Room!<\/p>\n

Wed., 11\/29<\/strong>, 2:30-4:00pm ~ Extended rehearsal with Jazz Ensemble (start in the Choir Room, end in the Band Room)<\/p>\n

Mon., 12\/4<\/strong>, 6-8pm ~ tech rehearsal in the Theatre (please bring performance shoes)<\/p>\n

Tues., 12\/5<\/strong>, 6-8pm ~ tech rehearsal in the Theatre (please bring performance shoes)<\/p>\n

Wed., 12\/6<\/strong>, 2:30-4:00pm ~ Extended rehearsal with Jazz Ensemble (location TBA)<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n
-phrases for the first section (mm. 1-16ish) are nearly 4 measures long (i.e., there is no breath after “see” in meas. 2, but there is a breath after “light” in meas. 4).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
-“light” (meas. 4) and “bright” (meas. 12) are quarter notes now, so we can get an appropriate amount of breath in before the next note.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
-please pronounce the word “perilous” as: “peh-rih-luss”.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
-Altos and Sopranos: “and the” at the end of meas. 16 are just even eighth notes – there is no dotted rhythm there!! It’s a very common mistake.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
-please write a small fermata in over the word “O!” in meas. 24. We want to make the most of that chord.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
-Concert Attire-<\/strong><\/div>\n

Show Choir members choose between a shirt\/pants\/tie outfit, or a dress.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Shirt\/pants\/tie: Shirt must be button-down, long-sleeved, and black. Pants must be formal and black. Shoes must be formal and black. Please provide your own shirt, pants, and shoes. Ties will be ordered through Mrs. C and cost $10 each (cash).<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Dress: I have chosen a dress from Amazon that you will order yourself.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
