Points Earned \/ Total Points<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0Tests (70-100) Tests will always be announced and cover an entire chapter. Usually we will have 2 to 3 tests per marking period. Whether test corrections will be assigned will be determined after each test. Test corrections can be completed for \u00bc of the points back.\u00a0 For points, correct work must be shown for each problem as well as an explanation of your mistake in complete sentences.<\/li>\n
  2. Quizzes (25-50 points) Usually 2 to 3 quizzes per chapter varying in point value. These will be announced.<\/li>\n
  3. Homework and classwork assessments:\u00a0 Homework will count for 2 points each, and will be checked at my discression.\u00a0 Homework or classwork may also be collected and graded for points.<\/li>\n
  4. You can earn a half of a point of extra credit towards your homework average by putting problems on the board (up to 2 points per chapter).\u00a0 In order to earn the credit, your solution must be complete and understandable.<\/li>\n
  5. Class participation: I do not always round grades.\u00a0 Rounding will be based on both quantity and quality of your classroom contributions. This also includes keeping a notebook, taking notes, and being a productive member of our environment.<\/li>\n
  6. Math league test can be taken for extra credit.\u00a0 As of this year it can only be taken after school<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
