The program began in 1995 and since then over 750,000 donations have been made by high school students with NYBC. This year NYBC and the New York Yankees recognized\u00a0North Hunterdon High School\u00a0as the top donating school with over 1,380 donations during the 2014\/15 school year. Dr. Richard Bergacs, Steve Delorenzo and Kelsey Shelofsky accepted the award for\u00a0North. North Hunterdon High School collected 448 units of blood.
