This year, the club had a total of about 45-46 presentations.\u00a0 About 5 of them were staff assisted\/run and we had our SROs (school resource officers), 2 teachers and 2 clubs. Most of our ML (multi lingual) students hosted a table and were able to add the continent of Africa this year.\u00a0 The gym is always organized by continent to distinguish for attendees and we had The Americas + The Caribbean, Asia, Europe and Africa.\u00a0 Tables ranged from whole country presentations to aspects of religions or cultures that students wanted to highlight.\u00a0 We also had our International Foods classes make dishes to share.<\/div>\n

This year, students that attended were given colorful boarding passes for entry, which was a nice addition created by Kyla McGill.\u00a0 Kyla, Khloe Corley, Nailill Hernandez, and Russell Hyland made the decorations and posters we used around the\u00a0gym in addition to hosting their own tables.\u00a0 Ohm Patel and Benjamin Robles helped run the event from start to finish, continuously checking in to see what was needed.\u00a0 We are also fortunate enough to have a strong leadership team for the Spanish Honor Society that assists during the day by making sure to take pictures, deliver supplies needed and ensure students are being respectful.\u00a0<\/div>\n
