If your child is interested in participating in competition cheerleading at North Hunterdon High School, clinic and tryouts for Fall Cheerleading will be held May 30 and 31 from 6:30-8:00pm (clinic days) and June 1st<\/sup> (tryout day) starting at 4:30pm in the Gold Gym at North Hunterdon High School. Registration is required for cheerleading tryouts.\u00a0 You must register your child in Aspen, the high school district\u2019s student information system, between May 1 and May 22, 2023.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Interest Meeting for Fall Cheerleading is being held on May 1st<\/sup> at 7:00pm in Cafeteria B at the high school.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

(Note to 8th<\/sup> grade parents – If you did not receive an email with a code to set up a parent account in Aspen, please check your email junk or spam folder and\/or contact Sherri DiMarcello, database manager, at <\/em>sdimarcello@nhvweb.net<\/em><\/a>.)<\/em><\/p>\n

To register your child for Cheerleading Tryouts, log into your parent Aspen<\/a> account, click on Page Directory on the left-hand side of the homepage, then click on North Sport. Click here<\/a> for step-by-step instructions. Please complete all required forms in the North Sport section in Aspen by May 22.\u00a0 Please note that a completed, original physical form must be mailed or delivered to the high school\u2019s health office (physicals cannot be submitted through Aspen). A valid physical<\/strong> form<\/a> is one that has not expired within 365 days of the start date for tryouts, so the physical must be dated after May 30, 2022 to be valid.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

An ImPact baseline concussion test is also required for those who never had a test or it expired after two years.\u00a0Our athletic trainer, Tyler Roseberry troseberry@nhvweb.net<\/a>,\u00a0will be conducting ImPact testing for cheerleading tryouts on May 3rd<\/sup> and May 16th<\/sup> at 4:30pm in Room 135B<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

For 8th<\/sup> grade parents<\/em><\/strong> – You must also complete required Health Forms in Aspen (click on Page Directory again on Aspen homepage, then click on Health Forms). Please complete Emergency Information Form and the Over-the-Counter Authorization Form and any other forms that are applicable to your child.<\/p>\n

To see if any required registration forms are missing, go into the North Sport section and run a checklist report at the bottom of that section.<\/p>\n
