If you would like to donate, please <strong>make an appointment at: <a href=\"https:\/\/donate.nybc.org\/donor\/schedules\/drive_schedule\/286447\" target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"nofollow\" >https:\/\/donate.nybc.org\/donor\/schedules\/drive_schedule\/286447<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While students who are seventeen and eighteen years old may donate legally without parental permission, we ask that they speak with their parents\/guardians before donating and that they obtain written permission; \u00a0permission form for students to donate is included in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/nhhs\/home\/files\/2021\/11\/NHHS-Blood-Drive-Letter-and-Form-11-23-2021.pdf\"><strong>Principal&#8217;s letter, click here<\/strong><\/a>. We also extend a special invitation to our students who will be sixteen years old by November 23rd. With parental permission, sixteen-year-olds can donate in the state of New Jersey. In addition to filling out the permission form, they must also fill out the New Jersey Blood Services Parental Consent Form here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/nhhs\/home\/files\/2021\/02\/Blood-Drive-16-year-old-Consent-Form.pdf\">http:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/nhhs\/home\/files\/2021\/02\/Blood-Drive-16-year-old-Consent-Form.pdf<\/a>.<br \/><br \/>Reminders and new guidelines for donating:<br \/>\u25cf All donors should drink plenty of water and eat regular meals on donation day.<br \/>\u25cf All donors must show some official form of identification, such as a picture ID or driver\u2019s license.<br \/>\u25cf If you have a blood donor card, please bring it with you when you donate.<br \/>\u25cf All donors\u2019 temperatures will be taken prior to entering the blood drive.<br \/>\u25cf May NOT donate if have had a positive diagnostic test or experienced symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.<br \/>\u25cf May NOT donate if are on self-quarantine restrictions.<br \/><br \/>We look forward to your help.
