Therefore, virtual learning will continue until the end of this school year to meet the 180 day requirement. In addition, in consultation with the NJSIAA, the Governor announced that the remainder of the spring sports season has been cancelled. I know this is not the end of the school year that any of us wanted, but as the Governor stated today, the health and safety of our students, staff and families is a top priority.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">With regard to year-end events, the principals are discussing all available options with important stakeholders including senior class officers and parents. Unfortunately at this point in time, we cannot provide firm details on events as there is much uncertainty as to whether in-person ceremonies can be held in June. We are required to follow social distancing guidelines and will be consulting with the county health department in finalizing our decision on events. We appreciate your patience and we will release final event details as soon as we can.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">I want to again thank everyone, especially our teachers, as it is Teacher Appreciation Week, for your commitment to virtual learning.
