My name is Jess Mitchell, I am a junior at North Hunterdon High School and an active Interact Club member, and last\u00a0summer I travelled\u00a0to a town outside of Cape Town, South Africa. In South Africa, I volunteered\u00a0with SAVE foundation at a school for underprivileged\u00a0children: teaching the young students during the day and coaching them in various activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The students are educated with minimal supplies, so at the end of last school year, school supply donations were accepted at\u00a0North Hunterdon High School.\u00a0 A huge thank you to everyone who donated, I was able to bring 2 suitcases of supplies over, which were\u00a0donated to Sunshine School in Wolwerivier\u00a0Settlement and Suzaki\u00a0School in Dunoon Township! The supplies\u00a0that were donated will be used to further the children&#8217;s education and advance their learning environment.<\/p>\n<div><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: lato, arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: lato, arial, sans-serif;\">I would like to continue my mission in helping these students and their families. \u00a0W<\/span>ith Christmas quickly approaching, SAVE Foundation has created a way for the children to share the joy of Christmas.
