In English II Advanced we will develop a greater understanding of the relationship between artists and cultures, and of literature as a vehicle for exploring human experiences and expressing human ideals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our literature course, we will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>develop proficiency in the basic forms of discourse, including description, narration, argumentation\/persuasion, and exposition; as well as experience-based, expressive writing.<\/li><li>develop fundamental techniques for clear, focused, structuring writing through literature-based analytical essays.<\/li><li>write in a variety of modes, for various purposes and audiences.<\/li><li>practice all stages of the writing process (prewriting, drafting, revising, and reflecting).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please see Google Classroom for all materials for our class.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to English II Advanced.
