Make a difference! Spread the word about mammograms and encourage communities, organizations, families, and individuals to get involved.<\/p>\n<p>Below are the activities the Athletic Department will be doing to make people aware:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Varsity Girls Soccer team will be wearing pink shirts on their October 8<sup>th<\/sup> game against Phillipsburg HS.<\/li>\n<li>The North and Plainfield HS\u00a0Football teams will be wearing pink shoe laces, wrist bands, etc \u00a0on\u00a0their October 9<sup>th<\/sup> game against Plainfield HS.<\/li>\n<li>The varsity Field Hockey\u00a0team will be wearing pink shirts\u00a0on\u00a0their October 22nd game against Warren Hills\u00a0HS.<\/li>\n<li>The Singley Field turf will have pink outlined on the field.<\/li>\n<li>The Cheerleaders will be using Pink Pom Poms during the month of October.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cancer.org\/healthy\/morewaysacshelpsyoustaywell\/breastcancer\" class=\"ext-link\" onclick=\"this.target=&#039;_blank&#039;;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff\">HERE<\/span> <\/a><\/strong>to review the research on Breast Cancer Awareness on the American Cancer Society website.<\/p>\n<p>Click <span style=\"color: #ff00ff\"><a style=\"color: #ff00ff\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cancer.org\/cancer\/cancerbasics\/cancer-prevalence\" class=\"ext-link\" onclick=\"this.target=&#039;_blank&#039;;\"><strong>HERE<\/strong> <\/a><\/span>to review the statistics on Breast Cancer on the American Cancer Society website.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
