{"id":7484,"date":"2015-08-19T16:01:58","date_gmt":"2015-08-19T20:01:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/nhhs\/athletics\/?p=7484"},"modified":"2015-08-19T16:03:30","modified_gmt":"2015-08-19T20:03:30","slug":"north-competitive-cheer-performs-well-at-uca-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/nhhs\/athletics\/north-competitive-cheer-performs-well-at-uca-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"North Competitive Cheer performs well at UCA Camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/nhhs\/athletics\/files\/2015\/08\/NHHS-Cheer-UCA-Camp-2015.jpg\" class=\"local-link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-7487\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/nhhs\/athletics\/files\/2015\/08\/NHHS-Cheer-UCA-Camp-2015.jpg\" alt=\"NHHS-Cheer-UCA-Camp-2015\" width=\"226\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>The North Hunterdon varsity and JV Cheerleading squads attended the\u00a0UCA Camp at Chestnut Lake this past week.\u00a0 It was a wonderful experience; both teams improved tremendously over the 4 days of instruction.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Throughout the week, North Hunterdon was awarded several honors from the UCA staff:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Both JV and Varsity earned Blue Superior ribbons for their sideline, cheer, and extreme routine evaluations.<\/li>\n<li>Five Varsity Seniors participated in tryouts for the All-American team.\u00a0 They were judged on a jump, cheer, and dance.\u00a0 All five seniors were selected.<\/li>\n<li>All of our nine Varsity Seniors were given applications to tryout for UCA staff.<\/li>\n<li>The JV team won the camp competition for cleanest cabin and were awarded a pizza party on the final night.<\/li>\n<li>During the final camp championship yesterday Varsity placed 2nd for their Cheer in the Elite Varsity Division.\u00a0 Both JV and Varsity won 1st place trophies for the Extreme Routine in their respective divisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>On behalf of the coaching staff, we are very proud of the girls&#8217; performances and hard work at camp.\u00a0 Congratulations!!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The North Hunterdon varsity and JV Cheerleading squads attended the\u00a0UCA Camp at Chestnut Lake this past week.\u00a0 It was a wonderful experience; both teams improved tremendously over the 4 days of instruction.
