Changes will be granted for the following reasons:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Student has an error in the scheduling process (conflicts, failure of prerequisite course, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Student has a Child Study Team recommendation for a schedule change.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Student wishes to take additional courses, which will not require the dropping of any courses that are already scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>If there is a legitimate schedule request based on criteria listed, the student will be required to complete a request change form and return it to the <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/counseling\/\">Counseling Office<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCHEDULE CHANGES WILL NOT BE MADE FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The student prefers a different teacher.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The student thought the class would be different than it is.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The student feels that the class is not needed to meet requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The student has decided he\/she wants a lighter class load.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The student wants to make the schedule more convenient for himself.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The student feels that the class is boring, not relevant, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Students should always assume they will complete every course, which they have chosen.\u00a0 If, however, a student is deleted from a course, due to a recommendation from a building administrator for disciplinary, attendance, or instructional reasons, a grade of \u201cWF\u201d (Withdrawn Failing) may result.
