Please be aware that you are not permitted to accrue a negative balance (aka “run a tab”) with the cafeteria.\u00a0 Payment should be made at the time of sale with cash or a Payschools Account that has a positive balance.<\/span><\/div>\n

Students\/Staff members can create an electronic Payschools account which will allow money to be placed on the account and sales to be processed electronically.\u00a0 Information on how to set-up a Payschools account can be found at https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/foodservices\/<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n

We have updated the district\u2019s Food Services webpage, click HERE<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, with important information for the new school year, including menus, the price list, and information on the Food Services.\u00a0 Links to the Breakfast and Lunch Menus are also available directly from the homepage of each high school\u2019s website. \u00a0A student breakfast will cost $2.50, student lunch will cost $3.00, and a featured favorites lunch, such as a Boar\u2019s Head Deli sandwich or gourmet salad, will cost $4.00.\u00a0 Pomptonian will hold demonstration cooking days during the school year, with the first one being Sushi Day on September 9 at Voorhees and September 11 at North Hunterdon.\u00a0 We hope your child enjoys the new menus and extras offered throughout the school year.<\/p>\n

The district is continuing to use MySchoolBucks for online cafeteria payments.\u00a0 If you had money in your account last year, it was carried over for the new school year.\u00a0 If you have not signed up for MySchoolBucks, please visit http:\/\/www.myschoolbucks.com\/<\/a> and follow the directions below:<\/p>\n

Instructions for Registering on MySchoolBucks.com:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. You will first need your child\u2019s student ID number.\u00a0 For parents of freshmen, the student ID number was included in the letter regarding School Messenger.\u00a0 If you do not have your student\u2019s ID number, please contact the child\u2019s school.<\/li>\n
  2. Go to the district website at www.nhvweb.net<\/a>, then click on Community Resources tab then click on Food Services, click on the link to MySchoolBucks.com OR go directly to www.MySchoolBucks.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. Click Sign Up<\/strong> Today!<\/strong> and enter the required information.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Click Create Account <\/strong>to complete the initial registration process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Add Students to Your Family Account:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Once you have created your account, click on Continue to Add a Student<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Fill in the required information, for which you will need your student\u2019s ID number. Also please use your child\u2019s legal name instead of nicknames. Click Find Student.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. If your current student is listed, then click Add Student<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. If you need to add another child to your account, click Add Another Student<\/strong> and follow the same steps.\u00a0 If not, click Finish<\/strong>.\u00a0 This will take you to the payment section.<\/li>\n
    5. If you need to add a child in the future, visit your My User Profile<\/strong> and click on Add Student<\/strong> in the third section.<\/li>\n
    6. NOTE:\u00a0 Your child\u2019s transaction history report will not display information during the initial account set up process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      How to Make a Deposit:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. MySchoolBucks allows you to set up auto payments or make a deposit whenever you wish.<\/li>\n
      2. To get to the payment section, click on Meal Accounts<\/strong> in the upper right on the main page.<\/li>\n
      3. You can click on Setup Auto Payments, Top Up Balances<\/strong> or Add Money<\/strong>.\u00a0 Select or enter an amount next to your child\u2019s name, fill in the required information and click Place Order<\/strong> to make a deposit.\n
          \n
        1. If you have more than one child, enter the amount you wish to deposit into the column next to each child\u2019s name. DO NOT deposit money for your entire family into ONE child\u2019s account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Be a good school citizen \u2013 which means use good common sense and act responsibly.<\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Respect the rights of others; clean up after eating.<\/p>\n

          Students are expected to<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pay for their lunch \u2013 no credit.<\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stand in line and wait their turn.<\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Keep the table areas clean.<\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Return trays and utensils to designated areas.<\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dispose of refuse in proper receptacles.<\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Use good table and eating manners.<\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Put chairs back in place.<\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Eat only in the cafeteria.<\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Carry NO<\/strong> backpacks or big coats in the serving lines.<\/p>\n

          \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Exhibit proper behavior \u2013 failure to comply with these expectations may result in removal from Caf\u00e9<\/p>\n

          Student Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n

          a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Students must be in the cafeteria by the late bell.<\/p>\n

          b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Students are not allowed to leave the cafeteria unless they fall into one of the following categories:<\/p>\n

          1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Library \u2013 With a properly authorized pass.<\/p>\n

          2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Nurse \u2013 Telephone \u2013 Guidance -Only with cafeteria hall pass.<\/p>\n
