{"id":7526,"date":"2021-03-18T14:10:20","date_gmt":"2021-03-18T18:10:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/?p=7526"},"modified":"2021-03-18T14:10:23","modified_gmt":"2021-03-18T18:10:23","slug":"instructions-for-public-comment-during-virtual-board-of-education-meetings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/index.php\/2021\/03\/instructions-for-public-comment-during-virtual-board-of-education-meetings\/","title":{"rendered":"Instructions for Public Comment During Virtual Board of Education Meetings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If the public would like to make a comment during a Board of Education meeting that is being held virtually, please see the instructions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>TO ENTER MEETING TO MAKE A PUBLIC COMMENT<\/strong> &#8211; the public has two options through which to make a public comment:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Via the\u00a0<strong>Zoom client by going to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nhvweb.zoom.us\/join\">https:\/\/nhvweb.zoom.us\/join<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from your computer, tablet, or smartphone.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Meeting ID and Password will be provided in the YouTube live stream and are posted below.<\/li>\n<li>Via phone by\u00a0<strong>calling (929) 436-2866<\/strong>.\u00a0 Meeting ID and Password are as follows:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Meeting ID: 958 4792 5482<\/strong><br \/><strong>Passcode: 375888<\/strong><br \/><br \/><em>Note:<\/em> Whether you join with the Zoom client or call via phone, you will be placed in a \u201cwaiting room\u201d where you won\u2019t be able to hear or see the meeting.\u00a0 You will be fully allowed into the Zoom meeting only during the public comment section of the meeting, at which time you will be able to hear\/view the meeting and speak to the board.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>TO SUBMIT A COMMENT AHEAD OF MEETING<\/strong> &#8211; <br \/>The public may also submit a comment ahead of a virtual Board of Education meeting by sending an email to <a href=\"mailto:boardsecretary@nhvweb.net\">boardsecretary@nhvweb.net<\/a>. Email must include the person&#8217;s name, municipality of residence and the comment.
