Monday will be a full day staff in-service to concentrate on finalizing online instruction plans in the event of a public health-related closure. As we have mentioned previously, the NJ Department of Education will allow online instruction to count towards the 180 school day requirement in the event of a closure at the directive of the Department of Health.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Also on Monday, the custodial staff will be performing a thorough disinfecting of the buildings while students are not present.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All after school activities and athletics will proceed as scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As we have a couple of extra days built into the school calendar for emergencies, Monday\u2019s closure for students will not change the calendar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your understanding as we navigate through this evolving public health situation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District will now be closed for students on Monday, March 16, 2020.
