Parent Advisory Committee &#8211; third meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, February 19th, the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District will hold the 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SEPAC) meeting of 2014-2015 in the North Hunterdon High School Media Center.<\/p>\n<p>Our guest speaker Jennifer Joyce, the Director of Employment, Transition, and Day Services at the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities, will be presenting on the following topics.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) is in the midst of system reformation that includes, but is not limited to, the transfer of children services, moving to a Medicaid based and fee for service model, implementing the Employment First initiative, and reforming care management.\u00a0 Ms. Joyce\u2019s presentation will provide an overview of these changes and their impact on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they age out of the school system.\u00a0 Information about preparing for the adult service system and accessing DDD services will also be discussed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM.\u00a0\u00a0 Please feel free to join us.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>If you are able to attend this meeting, please RSVP to me at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:mpublicover@nhvweb.net\">mpublicover@nhvweb.net<\/a>\u00a0or call (908) 713-4169<\/strong>.\u00a0Based on attendance, we may need to relocate this meeting.\u00a0 Prior to the actual meeting, I will send a verification email clarifying the exact location.
