The winners have been announced for the 5th Annual Hunterdon County Young Composers Contest. \u00a0One winner was chosen in each of three grade levels, Grade 3-5, Grade 6-8 and Grade 9-12. Congratulations to North Hunterdon High School freshman Haley Wright who was selected as the Grade 9-12 winner! \u00a0Haley won for her piano piece entitled “Nature’s Fantasy.” \u00a0Haley and the other two grade level winners will perform their winning pieces at a concert on May 31 at 10:00am at the North Branch of the Hunterdon County Library. \u00a0Also, congratulations to North Hunterdon junior Nathan Bishop, who is one of four composers chosen to perform his\/her piece at a Raritan River Music Festival Concert on a Saturday in May!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
