North Hunterdon High School\u2019s 2013 yearbook, Regis, has received national recognition as the yearbook was selected to receive the Herff Jones Showcase Award.<\/p>\n

The Showcase Award was presented to Editor-in-Chief Alexandra Kaminsky and Faculty Advisor Ms. Lauren Mallia by publisher Herff Jones, to recognize their outstanding achievement in yearbook design and coverage.\u00a0 They received a plaque from Herff Jones to commemorate the award. <\/p>\n

\u201cOften people who are not part of the Yearbook world fail to realize just how much time and commitment it involves when creating a yearbook.\u00a0 Herff Jones publishes hundreds of yearbooks, for them to acknowledge North Hunterdon in this way is a great honor! This proves that all of our efforts are appreciated.\u00a0 For that, the yearbook staff and I are extremely grateful to be recognized for all of our hard work!\u201d said Ms. Mallia.\"NHHS<\/a><\/p>\n

Showcase publications are singled out from all the yearbooks produced by Herff Jones in a given year.\u00a0 Some of the criteria used in selecting the recipients include unity in design and theme development, excellence in layout design and concept, and effective coverage and content.\u00a0 According to Herff Jones, \u201cthe 2013 Regis excelled in all of these areas as the yearbook staff told the story of how North students seek to \u2018Be Bold\u2019 in all they do.\u201d\u00a0 Be Bold was the theme of the 2013 yearbook.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
