At its meeting on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, the Board of Education approved changes to the 2012-2013 school calendar as a result of school closures following Hurricane Sandy.\u00a0 The Board decided to forgive two days, which brings the number of school days for students from 182 to 180.\u00a0 This action will eliminate the days that currently need to be made up for each school.<\/p>\n
