Strategic Planning brought together parents, staff members, community members, educational and community leaders, among other stakeholders, to create a shared vision for the district, identify both the strengths of the school district (those special attributes that we can build on as we move into the future) and the critical issues that we will face (the challenges that the district must be prepared for in the future).\u00a0 At its meeting on August 19th, 2025, the Board of Education adopted a new five-year Strategic Plan.<\/p>\n<p>Three Strategic Planning meetings with stakeholders were held on <strong>March 25th at North Hunterdon High School and <\/strong><strong>March 27th at Voorhees High School.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Volunteers worked in both small and large groups, and discussion led to a consensus document identifying the community\u2019s vision, strengths and challenges for the district, and developing goal areas focusing on the future for the high schools.\u00a0 The district administrative team then created action plans for each goal and objective.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em><strong>A sincere thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and participated in the meetings!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Final_NVH_STRATEGIC_PLAN_2025_2030-1.pdf\">Please click here to view the full Strategic Plan<\/a><\/strong>, which was adopted by the Board of Education at its August 19th, 2025 meeting. The Board of Education will use the new Strategic Plan to help shape future goals for the district as we move forward.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>District Goals 2025-2030 \u2013 From Strategic Plan:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evaluate and support the ongoing improvement of academic and co-curricular programs for all students to sustain high levels of student growth and achievement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide a shared vision and direction for the district over the course of five years through the development of a five-year strategic plan.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evaluate and identify areas for improvement of district operations at all levels to ensure ongoing compliance, accountability, and efficiency for all stakeholders.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sustain and grow a positive school culture and climate for all stakeholders to provide a safe, secure, and nurturing learning environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/what_is_strategic_planning.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4817 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nhvweb.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/what_is_strategic_planning.jpg\" alt=\"Where Are We Now, Where Do We Want to Be.
