During the week of March 11th, the Voorhees PTSO will be mailing out raffle books to all families. This is the PTSO’s primary fundraiser event and net proceeds will defray the costs of Project Graduation 2019. The more participation, the lower the cost of Project Graduation for Voorhees families. Let’s try to make Project Graduation free to all in 2019!
On Monday, March 11, 2019, we will stuff and label envelopes for the aforementioned mailing. We will begin stuffing and labeling envelopes at 6:00 PM. We will briefly pause to hold our monthly meeting at 7:00 PM and then finish the stuffing and labeling afterwards. Both envelope work and meeting will take place in the Media Center, which is located on the second floor. We welcome volunteers to come assist with this process. We will provide light refreshment for all who participate.
Two raffle books will be sent to each Voorhees family with a senior – the direct beneficiaries of Project Graduation 2019. One raffle book will be sent to each other Voorhees family. We are really counting on your strong participation, and we are offering a reward for it. The person (other than a PTSO Board Member) who sells the most raffle tickets will win a complimentary weekend night at the luxurious Embassy Suites by Hilton, Berkeley Heights hotel, featuring an on-site Starbucks and full-service Grain & Cane Restaurant and Pub. To be in contention for this prize, please write your name and phone number on all your return envelopes of ticket stubs and money. We will contact the winner on Monday, May 6th after we pull the winners for the raffle.
All ticket stubs and money must be returned by May 1st.
