The Voorhees High School Education Foundation (VHSEF) is seeking your help in facilitating what will be one of the most exciting and ground-breaking additions to the Voorhees High School campus in the school’s 43-year history: an All-Purpose Artificial Turf Field.
This planned 80,000 square-foot, multi-sport surface in the current VHS stadium will be used by Voorhees High School athletic teams, our Special Olympics Unified Sports program, and our intramural sports programs. It will also equally benefit the high school physical education program, the Voorhees Marching Band, extracurricular activities, area youth athletic programs, and other community organizations and events. Artificial turf provides a stable, uniform playing surface and allows for increased, year-round field usage without worries about weather, poor field conditions, or overutilization.
The Voorhees High School Education Foundation is working with the Voorhees High School Athletic Program and various community and booster club members to kick off our “It’s Time for Turf” initiative to raise the necessary funds to help with the installation of this field. Through the support of area businesses, individuals, Voorhees alumni, current students and families, and more we can make this turf field a reality for our current and future Voorhees students and our community.
Please make your contribution now and help deliver a first-class facility to a first-class school. For details on giving opportunities, please see the information below. No amount is too small…or too big! The VHSEF is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations may be tax-deductible as allowable by current tax law.
Thank you for your support!
