Ancient History is a course designed to cover various aspects of ancient
civilizations that lead in one way or another to our own, with a focus
on those cultures considered “Western Civilizations”. The
following is a list of subjects that will be taught under each era.
Grades will encompass small research and class-work assignments,
various quizzes and tests.

4) The Iron Age –

Rise of Democracy & Classical Age of Greece

Alexander the Great, Decline of Egypt, Decline of Greece
5) Rome –

Founding of Rome
o
Roman Republic & Punic Wars
o
Roman Empire & Five Good Emperors
o
Rise of Christianity & Splitting of Empire

Fall of Rome
