Each individual creates her/his own individual flyer advertisement for the band that your company is promoting.
- Read and use these tips:
- One page (can be front only or front and back)
- I recommend using Microsoft Publisher
- Promote your band (a new CD, upcoming concert series, the band’s music, or the band’s personality in general)
- Submit to the s: drive – completed work, with your LAST NAME as the first word of your file name
- Post each of your company member’s flyers on your company website

Create a plan for New Media vs. Old Media
How much time and money will you devote to these types of media?
Old Media- Billboards, newspaper, fliers, radio commercials, TV commercials.
New Media- Facebook, twitter, Xbox, satellite radio, internet radio, internet ads, etc…
Create a Circle Graph- explaining how much money you will devote to each form of media. You will need to explain why you are making this choice. Does your band’s demographic tend to gravitate towards one? For example Eminem has his own radio channel on Sirius… would that be a great place to advertize for a new rap artist? Your explanation should have a 2-4 paragraph feel to it… but you may use a different format.

Today, please choose some area of environmental sustainability. Research at least one organization that works to address this issue. Links to organizations are at World.org, the No Impact Project, and Charity Navigator.
Then, create two PowerPoint slides, including:
- The name and mission of the organization
- Why someone might consider joining the organization
- One change that this organization makes to improve the specific environmental concern
- One change that individuals can make to improve the specific environmental concern
- At least two relevant pictures. A video link would be great, too
When you’re done, please name your file with your last name and the words “Environmental PPT.” Save your two Powerpoint slides to both your h: drive and the s: drive (s: drive; completed work; cwyglendowski; AAL Mods [your mods]; 10.25.11 Environmental PPTS)
