marching band information: The Voorhees High School Viking Marching Band is an extra curricular ensemble that meets in the fall.  Rehearsals are typically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:15-5:15 PM (there are a few alterations - see schedule).  In addition to performing at weekly football games, the Viking Band also competes in USSBA competitions throughout the fall.

membership:
To join the Viking Marching Band, come to the VHS Band Orientation Night on Monday June 7th at 7:00 PM in the VHS band room.  Contact Mr. Giannelli for more information.  

Anyone wishing to participate in marching band for the 2010-2011 school year must:
          1.  complete and return a marching band membership form to Mr. Giannelli by July 13th
          2.  complete and return a Physical Examination Form and Parent Permission form to nurse by August 1st.
          3.  complete and return a Random Drug Testing Form to Mr. Giannelli by August 4th
          4.  complete a Marching Band Fees Form and submit payment by August 4th

These forms will be given out at the band orientation or mailed to you by Voorhees High School.  You can also print forms from the printable forms section.

We are extremely lucky to have an amazing group of parents at Voorhees.  The VHS music association helps all programs in the music department with fundraising, scholarships, and general support.
