A new tradition is
established this spring.
The Lenape Challenge Trophy, which celebrates the Annual
Varsity Lacrosse Games of Voorhees vs. North, will be
awarded to the winning team.
(The trophy is a striking bronze/resin
sculpture of two lacrosse players which sits on a walnut
base and stands approximately 20 inches tall. The
anniversary plates on the base will be engraved annually
by the winners. The trophy will be on display at
the winning teams' high school until the next Annual
Voorhees vs. North Varsity Game). A team
photo will be taken after the game when the trophy is
presented. We also hope to have newspaper
coverage of the game and an additional picture of
Voorhees & North players holding the trophy before the
game.
