The athletic programs at North Hunterdon and Voorhees High Schools have a highly successful reputation with teams capturing championships on the conference, sectional and state levels each year.  Students can participate in 17 different sports at North and 16 at Voorhees throughout their high school years.   Our two high schools belong to the Skyland Conference.

During the 2009-2010 school year, about 70% of our students were involved in athletics.  Below are some team achievements from the year:

North Hunterdon:

Girls Basketball team won the Group 4 State Championship as well as the Skyland Conference Delaware West Division and North 2, Group 4 Sectional Championships.

Boys Soccer team was the Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex County Tournament Champions, Skyland Conference Delaware West Division Co-Champions, and chosen as the Star-Ledger Boys Soccer Team of the Year

Girls Tennis team won the Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex County Tournament for a seventh consecutive year.  The team was the Skyland Conference Delaware West Division Champions and named as the Star-Ledger West Jersey Girls Tennis Team of the Year

Baseball team won the Skyland Conference Delaware West Division Championship.

Boys Tennis team was named the Star-Ledger West Jersey Boys Tennis Team of the Year and won the Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex County Tournament.

Golf team claimed the Group 4 North Jersey Championship and were co-champions of the Skyland Conference Delaware West Division.

Voorhees:

Girls Cross Country team were the Group 3 State Champions, North II Group 3 Sectional Champions and Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex County Tournament Champions.

Girls Fencing - Epee Squad were state champions.

Girls Winter Track team was Group 2 State Sectional Champions.

Girls Basketball team won the Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex County Tournament.

Girls Track & Field team won the North Jersey II Group 3 Sectional Champions, the Skyland Conference  Delaware West Division and Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex County Relay Champions.
